There are tons of opportunities for random things to do in Dhaka if you know someone who knows someone who knows someone else. Case in point: I had the amazing opportunity to participate in a movie premiere show thanks to my friends Mariale and Sharmeen. Mariale (my former roommate) introduced me to Sharmeen who introduced me to some people who were looking for volunteers to be dancers for the Cinderella movie premiere.
Grace and I attended some practices (wish we'd had more!) and got some free tickets for our other roommates and some of my coworkers to attend.
