I heard that the Seattle Cherry Blossom Festival is not very well publicized and doesn't...actually involve cherry blossom trees or the like. This seems to have been mostly true. I only heard about the festival because a friend was volunteering at the festival. It was more a cultural festival than particularly celebrating cherry blossom season, but it was still very fun. It was a rainy Seattle weekend, so the few activities that were scheduled to be held outdoors were held indoors.

There was taiko.

We dressed in yukata.

There was an ikebana exhibition.

Overall, a good way to spend a rainy Sunday (particularly since I hurt my knee bike riding for CTS yesterday).
