Today was A's last day in Washington. She was a couchsurfer we hosted for two nights while she was looking for a place to stay in Seattle for 8+ months. In true Washington style, we celebrated the end of her time in Washington with a hike, this time to Goat Lake. The hike is a good mix of forest and lake. No real views but weather across western Washington was pretty socked in, so I don't think anywhere offered a view that day. The gloom of the day lead to some enchanting photos taken around the lake area.
